Rebekah Montanez
Rebekah graduated from The University of Michigan in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in English and Theater. In 2018, she joined the U.S. Navy as a communications and public affairs specialist, serving five years on active duty in both Virginia and Florida. While in the Navy, her love for fitness and health grew as she held the role of command fitness specialist, helping numerous service members pass their physical readiness tests. During her first pregnancy in 2023, Rebekah fell in love with the kettlebells, and nine months after the birth of her son she decided to pursue her first certification through Kettlebell Coach University (KBCU). She went on to earn her pre and postnatal coaching certification before the birth of her daughter in October 2025. She is especially passionate about making training accessible and realistic for mothers.
Rebekah believes strength and agility training are for everyone, and that motion is the potion. As someone who was not an athlete growing up (hence the theater degree), she believes that anyone can develop the skills to become athletic with the right coaching and support behind them. She believes fitness should be functional and FUN, and that it should support your life without overtaking it.
“Fitness isn’t everything, but everything is harder if you aren’t fit. There is more to life than fitness. However, there is more to life with fitness.”
